Professor Dr. Muhammad Suhail, President, ASP
Got his School and Intermediate College education from Sindh, where he lived at Sukkur, Tando Muhammad Khan & Hyderabad.
Shifted to Lahore in 1980 & got admission at King Edward Medical College from where he graduated in 1986
and Started his career in Anatomy as Demonstrator at Shaikh Zayed Federal Post Graduate Medical Institute, Lahore in 1990 and then did his postgraduation from this Institute and University of the Punjab.
Prof. Dr. M. Suhail continued his journey in this field of Anatomy from Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & finally promoted to the Post of Professor & HOD Anatomy at Shaikh Zayed in 2009.
He is also the Pioneer of establishment of undergraduate Medical College i.e. Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical College (SKZMDC) at Shaikh Zayed, Lahore.
He served more than 32 years at Shaikh Zayed, where in addition to his academic responsibilities he performed innumerable administrative duties, headed various Committees including his appointment as Director Shaikha Fatima Institute of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences a component part of Shaikh Zayed, Lahore.
Currently, after his retirement from Government service in 2022, He is serving as Professor & Head, Department of Anatomy at Amna Inayat Medical & Faryal Dental College, Lahore. & also, as Adjunct Professor of Anatomy at University of Health Sciences, Lahore.
Prof. Dr. M. Suhail has vast teaching experience of more than 33 years in the field of Anatomy, both undergraduate & Postgraduate, He has supervised around 60 M. Phil Anatomy and Oral Anatomy/Biology candidates and more than 40 Publications in recognized Journals.
He was elected as General Secretary Anatomical Society of Pakistan twice and in the year 2022 he was elected as President ASP.
He together with other worthy office bearers of ASP, organized many Conferences and Workshops and academic activities specially on World Anatomy Day as well.

Prof. Dr. Masood Ahmed, Vice President, ASP
Currently working as a principal & Professor of
Anatomy at Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College, Karachi. He graduated from
Liaquat Medical College, Hyderabad in 1988. After finishing house job, he
joined department of Anatomy, Baqai Medical College, Karachi, as
demonstrator. In the year 2000, he did his MPhil and in year 2006 finished
PhD in the subject of Anatomy. In 2006, he rose to the position of
Professor. Later, he moved to Saudi Arabia where he served as Professor of
Anatomy and Histology. During his stay in Saudi Arabia, he won two
substantial research grants which later published in international Journals.
Professor Masood is the only Pakistani whose name has been included in
the reviewer list of the Gray’s Anatomy (40th Edition). He is a HEC and CPSP
approved supervisor for PhD and FCPS programs in the subject of Anatomy.
He has published more than 30 research articles in local and international
Journals. He has experience of working in various curricular system
including PBL, TBL, Traditional and Modular system. He has been elected a
Vice President for the next term.
